DEPARTMENT OF NIGERIAN LEGION EDO STATE COMMAND
POLICE DEPARTMENT
The legion police department is a Policing department. the legion Police duties is to protect people’s lives and property on legion installations by enforcing legion laws and regulations. They also control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to all emergencies.
MEDICAL DEPARTMENT
Legion Medical Officer is responsible for the overall health of members of the Nigerian legion, personnel and their families. They are also responsible for providing health care to honorary members’ families and others eligible to receive this care in the Nigerian legion community.
TRAINING DEPARTMENT
Nigerian legion Department of Training and Operations is responsible for the training, planning and directing of legion operations by continuous assessment and evaluation of possible threat areas in the overall activities.
LOGISTICS
Department of legion Logistics is responsible for all logistics matters in the Nigerian legion. This Department controls the entire Nigerian legion budget. It also supervises all services of the Nigerian legion.
PUBLIC RELATION
The public relations have the role of advising the management on the proactive ways of shaping policies and operations to gain public acceptance and support. As the mouthpiece of the Nigerian legion, interprets and explains Nigerian legion roles, policies, activities and accomplishments to the public. During public support, conflicts, exercises or operations conducts information management to keep the public abreast and also undertake activities to motivate personnel for attainment of overall Nigerian legion’s mission. Avenues used by public relations to achieve its tasks include publications, production of documentaries, media relations, radio and television broadcasts and Publicity.
ADMINISTRATION
Nigerian legion Department of Administration deals with the administration, welfare, discipline, employment and development of all human resources in the legion. The branch is responsible for Manpower Planning and Personnel Services.
PROCUREMENT AND SALES
The departments help keep organizations financially healthy. They procure goods and services designed to meet operational needs while providing the highest possible value. it established procurement policies and procedures to ensure the organization operates with integrity and the marketplace. Purchasing departments keep operations moving smoothly because they monitor Supply chains and take care of tedious tasks like negotiating contracts with vendors, selling kits, gadgets and other services for the Nigerian legion. The department comprises a sales team that works together to make sales, increase profitability and build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty.
